The Bulldogs trailed from the start of the game with Reinhardt taking the lead by as much as 16 in the first half. Tennessee Wesleyan went into the locker room at half down by 14, 39-25. Reinhardt extended their lead in the second half to 17 before the Bulldogs were able to find the net. Although the Bulldogs went on a 24-15 run in the last 11 minutes, the deficit was too much to make up. The Bulldogs were defeated 76-69.
Quincy Scates paced the Bulldogs with 19 points, while Matt Harper put in 16 of his own and pulled down 14 rebounds. Desmond Crisp also scored in double digits with 15. The Bulldogs shot 40% in field goals and were 6 of 16 in 3s. Tennessee Wesleyan out-rebounded Reinhardt 37-32 but committed 13 turnovers.
The Bulldogs travel to Bryan on Wednesday to play at 7:30 pm. They then return home on Saturday to play Union College at 4:00 pm.
