The Bulldogs traveled to Point University on Tuesday in hopes to bring back a win, which they did despite trailing at half by 7. Tennessee Wesleyan remains on top of the AAC Standings with a record of 9-2 with Reinhardt and Bluefield right behind them at 8-3.
With the game being tied 11 times throughout the first half, it wasn't until the last three minutes when Point went on a 7-0 run that the largest lead of the half was gained.

Matt Harper followed a 3-point field goal by E'Jay Ward with two of his own as TWC crept in front, 49-48, in the first four minutes after the intermission. Shannon Smith's three-point play untied a knot at 55 and the Bulldogs began to pull away. Scoring from Desmond Crisp and Quincy Scates, capped by a 3-pointer from Harper, widened the gap to 10, 70-60, at the 8:17 mark. The Skyhawks climbed within one, 79-78, before Crisp and Scates scored inside and the defense held the home team to just four points over the final four minutes.

All five Wesleyan starters finished in double digits, led by Crisp with 26 points. Harper netted 17 points, eight rebounds; Scates 15 points, seven boards; Smith 13 points, nine assists and Ward 13 points, five assists.

The Bulldogs host Bluefield College on Thursday night at 7:30 pm.
