The Lady Bulldogs hosted Midland University on Saturday for their first conference matchup. Tennessee Wesleyan scored the first four goals to take an early lead and never looked back. The Lady Bulldogs finished the first half up 10-3, and then finished the game at 16-4.
Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs was spread throughout the team, with Michelle Scannell having four goals. Lindsey Knapp, Renee Bolling, and Tess Sasse each had 2 goals. Putting in one for the Lady Bulldogs was Emily Clevenger, Alex Crawford, Cassie Romeo, Chelsea Walsh, Rebecca Dow, and Kayla Guillerault. Tess Sasse had 2 assists for Tennessee Wesleyan.
Spending the first half in the goal was Nicolette Dungee who had 2 saves and 3 goals against. Monica Kay stood firm at the goal second half to have 2 saves and only give up one goal.
The Lady Bulldogs travel to Centre College on Saturday, February 25th for a 5:00 pm game. They return home for NWLL Action on Monday February 27th against Davenport University at 4:00 pm.
