Men's Lacrosse hosted Ferris State on Saturday, which proved to be an easy win for the Bulldogs. Taking an early lead, 4-1, after the first quarter, Tennessee Wesleyan never looked back finishing 18-3. The Bulldogs scored 5 in the 2nd quarter, 4 in the 3rd, and 5 goals in the fourth. The Bulldogs had 35 shots on goal for the game while holding Ferris to only 11. Leading Tennessee Wesleyan was Parker Thomas who scored 6 goals and had 5 assists. Mason Onstott put in 5 goals for the Bulldogs and assisted 3. Also scoring for the Bulldogs was Jackson Isler (2), Chase Welch (2), Dylan Stanley (1), Steven Duchemin (1), and Chas Welch (1).
Playing in the goal for the Bulldogs was Ryne Owen and Brandon Scott. Ryne Owen had 8 saves while Brandon Scott had 4 saves.
The Bulldogs will be traveling for the next 3 games. First they will play Walsh University at Shorter at 2:00 pm on March 7th. Then will travel to Elon University to play Elon on March 9th at 7:00 pm and then Stonehill College at 2:00 pm on March 10th.
