The Bulldogs split on their trip to Elon, NC when they were defeated by Elon but won in overtime against Stonehill College. Elon went up 2-0 in the first quarter and then scored 4 more in the second to take a 6-4 lead at half. The Bulldogs scored 2 in the 3rd and 3 in the 4th, but Elon scored 8 in the second half to take a 13-9 win. At the end of regulation play against Stonehill, the game was tied 9-9. The Bulldogs scored the only goal in overtime to win, 10-9.
Jackson Isler led the Bulldogs with 4 goals. Chas and Chase Welch each had 2 goals and Mason Onstott scored one. Parker Thomas had 4 assists for the Bulldogs. Ryne Owen played in the goal and had 15 saves.
The Bulldogs trailed 1-2 in the first quarter against Stonehill but came back to score 3 in the 2nd quarter and take the lead 4-3 at half. Tennessee Wesleyan scored 3 more in the 3rd quarter and 2 in the 4th, but Stonehill scored 2 and then 4 in the 3rd and 4th quarter respectively to tie the game. Bulldogs came out ahead in overtime scoring one to win.
Jordan Hart scored 4 goals and had one assist to lead the Bulldogs. Mason Onstott put in 3 goals for the Bulldogs. Chas Welch, Victor Black, and Jackson Isler all put in one goal. Brandon Scott spent the entire time in the goal and had 20 saves.
The Bulldogs play next on March 17th at 2:00 pm against Georgia State at home.
