The Lady Bulldogs cruised to an easy win yesterday over the Majors of Millsaps College. 

Tennessee Wesleyan got on the board first just short of two minutes into the game, but Millsaps responded at the 20:30 mark to knot it up at one. The Lady Bulldogs then responded with six straight goals. The Majors scored two more before half along with one by Marina Tharin to give the Lady Bulldogs an 8-3 lead going into intermission.

The Lady Bulldogs increased their lead to 14-4, with a 6-1 run in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Tennessee Wesleyan finished strong, managing the clock and scoring 3 more in the last 15 minutes of the game. Millsaps tried to come back scoring 4 goals in the last 20 minutes of the game, but the deficit was too much.   The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Majors 17-8. 

Rebecca Dow and Tess Sasse each had 3 goals for the Lady Bulldogs. Also scoring was Marina Tharin and Cassie Romeo each with 2, Alex Crawford, Kelsey Crow, Rachel Matlock, Lindsey Knapp, Kimberly Leuthold, and Kayla Guillerault with one each. Tess Sasse had one assist for the Bulldogs. 

Nicolette Dungee played for 48 minutes in the goal and had 5 saves, while Monica Kay finished the game and had 2 saves. 

The Lady Bulldogs host Missouri Baptist in a NWLL conference game on Friday at 12:00 pm. Tennessee Wesleyan is currently 4-0 in the conference while Missouri Baptist is 1-3.
