The Bulldogs hosted Tennessee Temple from Chattanooga on Wednesday for a single nine inning game. Tennessee Wesleyan defeated the Crusaders 9-1.
The Bulldogs started the first inning with a walk and two throwing errors, which allowed Temple to take a 1-0 lead. However, Tennessee Wesleyan came back to score 5 of their nine runs in the bottom of the inning. An error by Temple, an Anthony Boix single and Stephen Branca's two-run hit started the rally. Stephen Branca hit a two-run homer, following a Tanner Quirk single, to give the Bulldogs an 8-1 advantage after four innings.
Substitutions for the Bulldogs were made to start the fifth to give others an opportunity to play. The final run came in the sixth when Sicking doubled and later scored on Miles Allen's sacrifice fly.

Corey Rhoney and Drew Masingale combined to pitch five innings of scoreless and hitless relief.
