The Bulldogs traveled to Reinhardt University for their first SELC game. Tennessee Wesleyan went ahead 4-2 after the first quarter and then extended the lead to 8-2 at half. The Bulldogs scored 4 more in the 3rd quarter and then 5 in the final period to defeat the Eagles 17-6. Tennessee Wesleyan is now 1-0 in SELC action. They will play Emory on Saturday, March 31st and then Kennesaw State on Friday, April 13th.
Dylan Stanley scored four goals for the Bulldogs and had one assist. Parker Thomas had 3 goals of his own and assisted 5. Also putting in three goals was Justin Bell and Jordan Hart. Mason Onstott had 2 goals for TWC and Chas Welch and Jackson Isler each had one.
Ryne Owen had 4 saves for the Bulldogs and allowed only one goal. Brandon Scott also played in the goal for the Bulldogs had 6 saves.
The Bulldogs play at 2:00 pm on Saturday against Emory University.
