Tennessee Wesleyan made a huge jump in the rankings as it cracked the top 10 in the first regular-season edition of the 2012 NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the NAIA announced Tuesday.

The Bulldogs (26-6 overall, 9-0 Appalachian Athletic Conference) garnered 450 total points to place them at No. 7. Tennessee Wesleyan began the year ranked 18th. Tennessee Wesleyan is 14 points behind No. 6 Oklahoma Baptist and 35 ahead of No. 8 Faulkner (Ala.).

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences/independent/unaffiliated groupings. The Coaches' Top 25 Poll will be released on April 3.
