After the first day of play and 36 holes of golf, the Bulldogs are holding on to a large lead in the AAC Conference Tournament at Tims Ford State Park. The winner of the tournament gets an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament in Salem, OR at the Creekside Country Club.
The Bulldogs shot a team score of 284 in the both rounds on Monday for a total of 568. Milligan trails by 16 with a score of 584 and then Union is in 3rd at 585. Michael Alread is currently tied with Zach Lindsey of Reinhardt for 1st shooting 66 in the first 18 and then 73 in the second. Josh Wheeler and Jordan Haugen are tied with Kody Fawcett of Milligan for 3rd place with a score of 142.
The Bulldogs complete the tournament today with the final 18 holes. Teams will begin teeing off at 10:00 am
