Tennessee Wesleyan's Josh Culler was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the week. It is the first honor of the season for Culler.
Culler pitched in one game for the No. 8 Bulldogs as he led them to a 4-1 victory over AAC foe Bryan College. In seven innings of work, Culler allowed just one run on two hits. The junior from Newark, Del., also recorded 12 strikeouts in the game.
On the season, Culler is 7-1 with an ERA of 2.70. He leads the conference with 67 strikeouts in 53.1 innings of work this season.
The Bulldogs currently sit atop the AAC standings with a 17-1 conference record and are 34-9 overall.
