Paige Falkowski from Duluth, Georgia has signed to play for the Tennessee Wesleyan Lady Bulldogs beginning fall 2012. Paige has been the starting goalie at Duluth High School since the program began in 2009. The Duluth Wildcats has grown into a formable team each year posting a better record. Paige was the top goalie in Gwinnett County with 62% save percentage having 324 saves in 2012. Paige was named to CAG Spartan Shootout All Tournament, she was selected to play in the 2012 Georgia High School All Star Game (and her team won), and received All County Lacrosse honors for the 2012 season.
Paige began her goalie career as a hockey goalie. She began playing roller hockey in Kindergarten and soon realized goalie was her position. After several seasons of roller hockey she also played ice hockey as one of a very few female goalies. When Duluth High School Wildcats started the girls Lacrosse team, the coach quickly heard of Paige's goalie experience and came to her asking her to be the goalie. Since Paige was already used to stopping hockey pucks, it was an easy transition to Lacrosse. Paige received MVP 2010 and Outstanding Defensive Player 2012.
Additionally, Paige graduated with honors from Duluth High School. For several years she has been a roller hockey referee and has helped coach new goalies.
