Although, the Lady Bulldogs committed 24 turnovers and were 0-15 on 3-point field goal attempts, they countered those deficiencies by creating 27 turnovers by their opponent, including 19 steals, and hitting 22 of 28 free throw attempts to defeat host Truett-McConnell College, 58-40.
The Lady Bulldogs shot only 35 percent (9-of-26) in the first half, but held Truett-McConnell to just 26 percent in building a 27-15 lead. TWC, however, connected on 9 of 13 second-half attempts and converted 13 of 15 free throws in pulling away to the 18-point victory.
