Former Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldog, Michael Alread, is currently participating in the Tony Jacklin's West Florida Golf Tour. 

In two of the tournaments, Ritz Build Shop Classic and Lake Jovita North Series, Alread tied for 18th.  In the other two tournaments he has participated in he has finished strong with a 2nd and 3rd place finish.

He was among 32 pros participating in the Tournament Players Club Open on January 19th and 20th and broke the course record. The 36 hole, 2 day tournament was played that the TPC Prestancia Club in Sarasota, FL.

Alread shot an even par (72) on the first day with 4 birdies and 4 bogeys. The second day he shot five under on the front side with 3 birdies and an eagle, and then finished the back with 4 birdies (-4) for a total of 63. Alread broke the previous course record of 64 which was set in 1994.


On January 26th and 27th, he played at the River Wilderness Country Club. In the first round he shot six under with 7 birdies and one bogey. The second day, he finished with a 70, four birdies and two bogeys, to place 3rd.
