The Bulldogs hosted Ohio Christian University for a makeup 9-inning game from Monday as well as UVA-Wise for a 7-inning game on Wednesday. Tennessee Wesleyan came away with two wins for the day. They defeated Ohio Christian 10-0 in 7 innings and then won over UVA-Wise 2-1.

Wesleyan starter Brent Adheen would go the distance, allowing only four hits with six strikeouts and one walk in the game. Three walks loaded the bases and Brandon Walker's two-out single put the Bulldogs on top, 2-0, after two innings. Wesleyan added two runs in the fifth on a hit batsman, Wes Minton's double and a wild pitch. Two more free passes, another wild pitch and hits from Walker, Jake Stone and Trey Griffin made it 8-0 in the sixth. The game ended in the seventh on an error and back-to-back doubles from Travis Burnside and Michael Carbello.
Wesleyan had eight hits led by Walker with a pair of singles, two RBIs and one run scored.
TWC 2, UVA-Wise 1
Fleshman surrendered one run on four hits, while striking out three and hitting one batter over six innings. Wesleyan's scoring came in the second. Brackton Smith led off the inning with a home run. With one out, Travis Burnside singled and Brad Carpenter doubled. Burnside scored on a Logan Dalton's sacrifice fly. The Cavaliers' only run came in the sixth as the result of a single and two-out double. TWC threatened in the bottom of the inning, loading the bases with one out on hits by Griffin and Smith, along with an intentional walk, but an inning-ending double play squashed the rally.
Reliever Noah Piard created a little drama in the Cavaliers' final at-bat, issuing a walk and single to the first two batters. Piard then recorded his NAIA-leading 10th save by sandwiching strikeouts around picking the runner off second base.
TWC had seven hits, led by Smith with three.
The Bulldogs travel to Bryan this weekend for a single nine inning game on Friday at 5:00 pm and then a double header on Saturday beginning at 1:00 pm.
