The Bulldogs traveled across the river to play AAC foe Bryan College. TWC swept the weekend series winning 8-4 on Friday night, and then 5-1, 5-1 in Saturday's doubleheader.
The Bulldogs came out early on Friday to take the lead 5-2 after the first inning. TWC scored two more runs in the second and then their final run in the 5th. Bryan tried to rally in the 8th but only managed to get two runs out of the inning. The Bulldogs had 13 hits and one error. Jake Stone led the Bulldogs with 3 hits including two homeruns and a double. Also hitting a homerun for the Bulldogs was Wes Minton and Trey Griffin.
In the first game on Saturday, the Bulldogs scored one run in the second, three more in the sixth, and then the final run in the 7th. Brian Bardis got the win pitching six and a third innings. He struck out 5 while giving up one run on 5 hits. Brady Frey finished the game striking out one to get the save. Michael Carballo and Jake Stone hit a home run for the Bulldogs. Stone also had a double.
Jarrod Jameson got the win for the Bulldogs in the 3rd game of the series pitching all seven innings and only giving up one run on one hit. The Bulldogs scored two in the second and then 3 in the fifth. Josh McCray had 3 hits for the Bulldogs including a homerun. Trey Griffin had his second homerun of the series as well as a double. Wes Minton and Brandon Walker also had a double. Jake Stone had two doubles and an RBI.
The Bulldogs face Georgetown on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 pm.
