Men's Lacrosse - Tue, Mar. 5, 2013

The Tennessee Wesleyan College men's lacrosse team journeyed to Knoxville's Safety City Park to face off against The Missouri Baptist Spartans. Though the elements were not in anyone's favor the Bulldogs fought through the pouring rain and the frigid cold to rise victorious, sending the Spartans on an 8 hour ride home. After the first quarter the score was tied 2-2.  The Bulldogs pulled ahead going into halftime iwth a score of 6-3.  TWC didn't let up in the second half scoring 4 in the 3rd quarter and 5 in the final period of the game.

The play of the game goes to Will Munley with the behind the back pass to Justin Bell for the quick finish helping the Bulldogs on their way to victory.  Justin Bell scored five goals for the Bulldogs and had one assist.   Dalton O'Connell and Zack Klinker both scored three goals for Wesleyan.  Also scoring for the Bulldogs was Ladarius Williams, Tyler Caviness, Will Munley, and Taylor WeibeWill Munley had 8 assists.

Brandon Scott played in the goal for the Bulldogs and had 13 saves for the game.
