The Lady Bulldogs remain undefeated in conference play after traveling to Columbia College over the weekend and recording a 4-2 and 2-0 win over the Fighting Koalas.

Brooke Ward started the game off with a double for the Lady Bulldogs.  After two outs, Kali Henderson hit a double for TWC to score Ward.  Henderson then scored on an error. Columbia scored one run in the 4th and one in the 5th to tie the game.   Wesleyan scored their other two runs in the top of the 8th when a runner was on base and Brooke Ward hit a single to center field.  Ward advanced to second on the throw and then Stephanie Bridges his a single to move Ward to 3rdBrandi Lasley hit a sac fly to score Ward and advance Bridges.  The Lady Bulldogs held Columbia to no hits and no runs in the bottom of the inning to get the win.

Stephanie Bridges and Brooke Ward each had two hits.  Stacie Nelson and Kali Henderson had one hit a piece.  Brittany Kilduff threw all eight innings giving up 2 runs on six hits and striking out four.

The Lady Bulldogs scored one run in the 4th and one in the 7th for the 2-0 win in the second game.  The first run came when Brandi Lasley reached base on a dropped fly and then scored when Stacie Nelson singled to center.   In the seventh, Courtney Gobble singled to center and then advanced to second on a sac bunt by Amy Lokker.  Gobble scored the run when Stephanie Bridges singled to right field.

Kelly Walker pitched all seven innings, striking out two.  Courtney Gobble had two hits, while Stacie Nelson, Brandi Lasley, Stephanie Bridges, and Amy Lokker each had one.
