In a weekend of Women's Lacrosse dedicated to Seton Hill, the Lady Bulldogs found themselves with one win on Friday and one loss on Sunday.   Tennessee Wesleyan decided to play for Seton Hill, when their team suffered the tragic loss of their coach in a bus accident traveling to a game.

The Lady Bulldogs came out strong and united on Friday afternoon scoring 10 goals in the first half, with five of those coming in the first ten minutes.  Kelsey Crow scored the first three and then scored three more in the first half.  Nicolette Dungee had six saves in the first half and kept the Lady Knights at zero.

St. Andrews came out in the second half to score the first two goals but then Kelsey Crow put in another one for the Lady Bulldogs.  Each team scored one more, before St. Andrews tried to make a comeback scoring six unanswered goals.  Tennessee Wesleyan held the Lady Knights for the final five minutes of the game and Kelsey Crow put in the final goal of the game, to give the Lady Bulldogs a 13-9 victory.

Kelsey Crow led the Lady Bulldogs with 8 goals.  Chelsea Walsh had two goals and three assists, while Rachel Matlock put in two goals.  Cheyenne Bray had one goal and two assists.  Sharon Acoff and Anna Headen each had one assist.  Nicolette Dungee spent the entire sixty minutes in the goal and had 15 saves.

On Sunday the Lady Bulldogs played one man down due to one player suffering a concussion in the game on Friday.  Indiana Tech came out to score the first goal but it was answered quickly by Tennessee Wesleyan when Kelsey Crow put in a goal off a pass by Rachel Matlock.  The Warriors put in another goal.  Chelsea Walsh put in the Lady Bulldogs second goal of the game.  Indiana Tech then put in six goals to take the lead 2-8.  Chelsea Walsh scored another before Indiana Tech scored two to lead at half, 3-10.

The Lady Bulldogs were able to hold Indiana Tech to just five goals in the second half, but were only able to score three themselves, leaving them trailing at the buzzer, 6-15.

Kelsey Crow led the Bulldogs once again with four goals and one assist.  Chelsea Walsh had two goals. Nicolette Dungee had 23 saves for the day.

The Lady Bulldogs travel to Emmanuel College to play tonight at 6:00 pm.
