After considering several small colleges in the area, Lauren McHugh chooses Tennessee Wesleyan College to call home. On her 18th birthday, Lauren signed her National Letter of Intent in front of her parents, coaches, and team mates. Lauren McHugh has accomplished a myriad of individual and team goals throughout her high school career and has been an asset to the Woodmont Lacrosse team since she was in 9th grade.  Lauren also has been playing for the Carolina Revolution Club Team for three years, and has served as their captain for for two years.

 

Some of her accomplishments include:

-Woodmont team captain in the 2012 and 2013 seasons

-Woodmont's 2nd highest scorer during the 2012 season

-2012 MVP of the Woodmont team

-2012 All-County First Team.

 

Woodmont High School's Coach Kaitlynn Wright said, "Lauren plays every game with passion, determination, and intensity.  She's an incredible leader that motivates her team, and pushes them to do better every day. We wish her the best of luck next year."
