In hot conditions against 13th ranked Cumberland University, the Lady Bulldogs made a great effort to try for a comeback in the second half, but the 3-0 deficit was just too much.  TWC lost 4-2 to the Lady Bulldogs of Cumberland.

With three goals by Cumberland in the first half, the Lady Bulldogs worked hard to get something in the net in the second half.  Amelia Panayi scored five minutes into the second half on an assist from Madelyn Thomas, but Cumberland answered seven minutes later for a 4-1 lead.

TWC's Samaira Khan cut the deficit to two again just 90 seconds later on an assist from Kimberly Key, but that ended the scoring for the match.

TWC's Jaimee Moreland allowed three goals in the first half, while Cierra Nopen made three saves and gave up just one goal after the break.

The Lady Bulldogs travel to Robert Morris University this weekend to play against Ashford University at 2:30 pm CST on Saturday and then against St. Ambrose University on Sunday at 12:00 pm CST.
