The Bulldogs hosted St. Andrews University on Saturday for their 2nd conference game last week. Although, St. Andrews came out of the gates to score early, the Bulldogs defeated the Knights, 5-3.
Fifty eight seconds into the game, St. Andrews scores the first goal, but this is the only time they will lead in the game. Nduka Kemijka scored the first goal for the Bulldogs off a cross by Ben Wilks. Just two minutes before the half, Nduka Kemjika scored again with Laurence Hutchinson getting the assist.
After the half, the Bulldogs scored three more goals to take the lead 5-1. Brent Lesnick put in the third goal with assists by Ben Wilks and Nduka Kemjika. Ryan Ejezie scored the final two goals for the Bulldogs. St. Andrews tried to make a comeback scoring two more goals to make the final score, TWC 5 St. Andrews 3.
The Bulldogs will play Truett McConnell on Tuesday, September 17th at 4:30 pm.
