Tennessee Wesleyan hosted Truett-McConnell on Tuesday. Although the game remained scoreless for the first 77 minutes, the Lady Bulldogs won 2-0, scoring in the 77th minute and then in the final minute.
A pass from Madelyn Thomas to Kimberly Key, who was able to get past the defender and then kick it past the goalie put the first goal on the board. The final goal came when Samaria Khan made a break with the ball towards the goal but had to pass back to Kelsey Hall. Hall passed back towards Rachel Hull who soared the ball past the goalie to guarantee the win for the Lady Bulldogs.
Jaimee Moreland had two saves for the Lady Bulldogs.
The Lady Bulldogs will host the University of the Cumberlands on Saturday with kick off at 12:30 pm.
