ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Kimberly Key of Tennessee Wesleyan has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Senior forward Kimberly Key had a hat trick (3 goals) in the win over Union College on senior day this weekend. With a fairly even game being played she scored two goals with her head off crosses, and was unassisted on the 3rd goal. She has helped lead the TWC team to another week of 2 wins, playing a huge role in the win over Point University earlier in the week as TWC played the final 30 minutes with 10 players. Key leads the team in goals with 6 for the season, as well as leads the team in assists, shots, and shots on goal. She has helped TWC move up in the AAC rankings with 5 straight conference wins.
