The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Montreat College on Saturday for another AAC matchup. The Lady Bulldogs fell behind in the first half but came back to tie the game going into the half and eventually win 77-74.
The Lady Bulldogs trailed by nine points eight minutes into the game, but fought back to tie the game at 35 going into the intermission. TWC slowly pulled away in the second half and held a 14-point advantage before Montreat closed with a rally in the final three minutes.
Shira Buley paced three Lady Bulldogs in double figures with 21 points and added five assists. Armeka Booker netted 20 points with 10 rebounds and four blocked shots, while Cody Houck had 19 points and five rebounds. Sarah McKinnon added eight rebounds.
The Lady Bulldogs shot only 38 percent overall for the game and was just 15 of 47 on two-point attempts, however, connected on nine of 16 3-point shots and converted 20 of 26 free throws.
The Lady Bulldogs will host Reinhardt University at home on Wednesday at 5:30 pm.
