The Lady Bulldogs drop to 5-2 on the season and 0-1 in conference play with a 5-4 defeat to #19 Milligan College. Lady Bulldogs won #1 doubles Ekaterina Vezhenkova and Beatriz Signori by a score of 8-2. #3doubles Tatum McMahon and Rachel Walker had two match points but could not close the match, which gave Milligan a 2-1 advantage after the doubles. In singles the Lady Bulldogs split the 6 singles matches; the Lady Bulldogs got victories #1 singles Ekaterina Vezhenkova, #2 singles Beatriz Signori, and #6 singles Rachael Walker.  The Bulldogs step out of conference play to play NCAA divsion2 foe Carson Newman Wednesday March 12th at the TWC tennis Courts at 3:00.  Then they will host Columbia College on Saturday at 12:00 pm.

Coach LaRue stated that "#3 doubles was the difference today, if we could have capitalized on our 2 match points we would have had the momentum going into singles. I know the girls were frustruated with their only two defeats on the season being 5-4 defeats to national rank teams, but I am proud of them! The work ethic is there, they fight every point! We are starting to peek at the right time!"
