The Lady Bulldog softball team is currenlty 14-20 overall and 4-8 in the conference.  The Lady Bulldogs split conference matchups recently with Virginia Intermont and Union.  They also played a non-conference doubleheader against Cumberland University and split.  In the Virginia Intermont game the Lady Bulldogs won game one 2-0 before losing 4-3 in the second game. 
The pitching of Brittany Fox and hitting of Ashton Burrell was the key to winning game one.  Fox allowed four hits and struck out two in recording the shutout and Burrell hit a two-run homer.  Lindsey Brown was the losing pitcher in game two, giving up four runs on 11 hits.  Heather Gibson went two for three with a homerun and an RBI.  Megan Arndts went two for four with a double and Brittanie Viar one for three and two RBIs.
 
In the Union matchup Union took game one 3-2.  Brittany fox was the losing pitcher allowing seven hits with four strikeouts and three walks.  At the plate, Megan Arndts went one for two with a double and Rachele Moretto went two for three with a stolen base.  Paige Goins got the win in game giving up five hits while striking out three.  Offensive leaders for TWC were Moretto, Arndts and Heather Gibson with each going one for three with a double.  TWC won 3-2.
 
The Lady Bulldogs played at league-leadingMilligan and lost both conference games 5-0 and 4-0.  In game one Paige Goins was the losing pitcher, allowing five runs on four hits with three strikeouts and five walks.  Rachele Moretto, Kanissa Webb and Brittanie Viar each had a single for the Lady Bulldogs.  In game two Chelsea Cox was the losing pitcher, surrendering four runs on six hits and struck out one.  Elisha Collins had three of TWC's five hits.
