Tennessee Wesleyan Women's Soccer Coach Naomi Clarke has announced the signing class for the 2014-15 year.  One junior transfer athlete from Monroe Community College in Rochester NY, a freshman from Forsythe GA, and four other freshman all from Tennessee.


Alexis Dalberth is a junior forward who played her first two years at Monroe Community College where she garnered various athletic honors.  Dalberth was a two year starter at MCC in the defense & midfield positions, she scored 23 goals and had 9 assists in 32 games during her MCC career.  In her sophomore campaign, as captain, she helped lead the team to a 13-5 record as she scored 21 goals and had 7 assists.  Dalberth was named NJCAA National Player of the Week once, she was also named both years to the NJCAA All-Region III team, was named MVP of the Region Tournament in 2013, and earned an NJCAA 2nd team All-American selection in 2013.  She is also a 2013 Deans List student.  Dalberth plans to move into the Nursing program at TWC.


Taylor Young is a local goalkeeper, coming from Englewood, TN having played at McMinn Central HS.  Young has played all four years at school, and has played for local competitive club McMinn United during her senior year.


McKenna Loges, a goalkeeper joins the Lady Bulldogs to begin her college career.  Loges hails from Dandridge, TN where she attended Jefferson County HS.  She was captain her senior year and was named All-District as well as team MVP.  She had 128 saves with 21 goals against during her senior campaign.  Loges has been an honor roll student all four years of high school, she will graduate with honors and distinction in May.  She has been a Beta Club member and competed in the FBLA at the State level.  She won the Chemistry Award and was a Student of the Year finalist her junior year, and was named a Student of the Year nominee her senior year.  Loges plans to major in Business with a minor in Exercise Science.


Kelsey Brown is a forward from Clinton, TN where she played at Anderson County HS.  She was captain her junior and senior years, scoring 10 goals with 15 assists throughout her career.  She has started all four years of her high school career, and has been a member of the Anderson County Exemplerary Student group all four years of high school.  Brown was a two sport athlete at high school playing soccer and softball.


BethAnn Burns is a goalkeeper from Grenneville, TN where she attended Chuckey-Doake HS.  In her 4 year high school career she had 365 saves.  In her senior campaign she was named an All District & All Region player, and was given the honor of being named All Region Defensive Player of the Year and MVP.


Caitlin Stephenson is a forward/midfielder from Mary Persons HS in Forsythe, GA.  She will join former high school teammate and TWC sophomore goal keeper Cierra Nopen at TWC this season.  Stephenson was named MPHS Offensive MVP her junior year and garnered 2nd All Region honors.  In her senior year she won the MPHS Golden Boot Award and Offensive MVP, she was named 2nd team All Region and played in the GA State All Star Game.  She was recognized by being named to the Middle GA All Star 1st Team and holds the record for the most goals scored in a season at MPHS.  She scored 26 goals and had 12 assists to lead the team.
