With a 4-1 victory over St. Andrews on Thursday, the Lady Bulldogs have advanced to the 2015 AAC Tournament Championship game. With a win tomorrow, the Lady Dogs will pick up the second AAC bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
Down 1 - 0 going to the bottom of the fifth, TWC's offense came alive as they scored 4 runs on 4 hits. After Kristen Givens reached on a walk and Calli Cross doubled to left, Amy Lokker drove in the go ahead runs with a double to left center. Later in the inning, Stephanie Bridges would double to score Lokker and Alexis Adams would single to score Bridges.
TWC will take on the winner of the Truett-McConnell vs. St. Andrews game scheduled to begin at 11 am. The championship is scheduled to start at 1 pm on Friday. After going undefeated through the first three days of the tournament, the Lady Dogs will have to be defeated twice on Friday for the championship to go to either St. Andrews or Truett -McConnell.
