The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2009 NAIA Baseball All-Americans, as selected by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association (BCA) All-America Selection Committee.The All-America Teams consist of 17 members on the First Team, 17 on the Second Team and an Honorable Mention Team, which is limited to 34 players (not position specific).
Matt Stanley, Sr. Catcher from Louisville, KY. represents Tennessee Wesleyan on the second team.
Tyler Moyneur, Sr. 3B from Escondido, CA. and

2009 NAIA Baseball All-American TeamsIn 58 game appearances Matt Stanley ended his Bulldog career with a batting average of .423, slugging percentage of .760 and a fielding percentage of .965. Stanley had 83 hits, scored 34 runs (17 doubles, two triples). He hit 15 homeruns and knocked in 62 RBI's.

Tyler Moyneur #24 and Matt Stanley #8
Tyler Moyneur (58 games) had a batting average of .415, slugging percentage of .737 and a fielding percentage of .898. As a leader for the Bulldogs Moyneur ended his career as a Bulldog with 85 hits (16 doubles and seven triples) and crossed the plate for 53 runs. Moyneur had 12 homeruns on the season and contributed to 67 team RBI's and was named AAC Player of the Year.

Jon Swartout #4
Jon Swartout was the "ace" for the Bulldogs this past season. On the mound Swartout was 12-1 pitching 98.2 innings with an ERA of 1.92. "Swart" had 92 strikeouts and was named the AAC Pitcher of the Year.
