Originally from Potomac, Md., Kevin Parker was a former lacrosse standout at Good Counsel High School and Mount Saint Mary's University. He spent six years as an assistant at Good Counsel before moving to Hamburg, Germany, to coach the HTHC Hamburg Warriors for three years. Parker guided the Hamburg squad to the title game of the German championships against Berlin.

Parker also served as the Danish National team coach for the 2008 European championships in Finland.
