The Lady Bulldogs volleyball squad was picked to finish sixth in the 2009 AAC Preseason Coaches' Poll during a recent meeting of conference coaches.  The Lady Bulldogs open up their regular  season at James L. Robb Gymnasium on August 24 with Union University (game time 2:00 p.m.) and Shorter College (game time 6:00 p.m.).  AAC Conference play will begin on September 1 at home against Virginia Intermont.  The Lady Bulldogs will play Bluefield and UVA-Wise before facing off with Bryan College on November 22.  Bryan College is the 2009 Preseason Coaches' Poll top pick for this upcoming season.  The AAC coaches rank teams from 1st through 9th, with the top vote receiving nine points and the lowest position receiving one point.  Check out the complete game schedule on the volleyball webpage.
