Brittany Adams - Total 10 kills
The Lady Bulldogs opened the 2009 volleyball season hosting Union University and Shorter College.  The Lady Bulldogs fell 3-0 to the defending TranSouth Conference champions (25-16, 25-12, 25-7) Union University.  In the third match the Lady Hawks of Shorter College defeated TWC 3-0 (25-3, 25-10, 25-15).
In match one Brittany Adams led the Lady Bulldogs with eight kills and Cassey Swinney had 10 assists.  In the Shorter College matchup Rachele Moretto, Jaclyn Evans, Adams, and Paige Goins had two kills each.
   
The Lady Bulldogs return to action on Thursday as they travel to Tennessee Temple.  Game time is slatted for a 6:00 p.m. start at Tenn. Temple.
