The Bulldogs entered the AAC tournament as the number 2 seed and finished the season with a 18-4 record and 6-1 in AAC play. The Bulldogs opened play Friday and made quick work on the Rams from Bluefield by a score of 5-2, the Bulldogs took 2 of the three doubles points and took 3 singles to clinch the match.
On Saturday the #2 seed Bulldogs where matched up against #3 seed SCAD Atlanta. The Bulldogs took the Number 1 and Number 3 doubles to take a 2-1 lead going into singles. Caio Baudill was the first to win his singles match to give the Bulldogs a 3-1 lead. The next victory came from Alejandro Prada the victory gave the Bulldogs a 4-1 lead. The Bees made a come back taking both #1 and #2 singles sliming the Bulldogs lead to 4-3. Playing on a turned ankle #6 singles Gavin Grivel clinched the match to give the Bulldogs the 5-3 victory.
The Bulldogs where going into the AAC finals for a third year in a row, they where facing #15 th ranked Reinhardt University in the finals. TWC would have to play without #6 singles and #2 doubles Gavin Grivel due to ankle injury sustained in Saturdays semi-finals against SCAD Atlanta. The Eagles took 2 out of the three doubles points in doubles, TWC lone victory in doubles was by the team Galardo/Prada at #3 doubles. Down 2-1 going into singles, the first victory in singles went to Reinhardt at #6 singles, giving the Eagles a 3-1 lead. The Bulldogs made a comeback taking both #1 and # 4 singles to tie the score at 3-3. The Eagles took #2 singles to go up 4-3, and they clinched at #3 singles winning in the third set. The Bulldogs finished the season 18-4 and return 5 of there 6 starters for next season.
