Bulldogs Edge Trevecca in Double Overtime

The Bulldogs traveled to Trevecca Nazarene and edged the Trojans 3-2 in double overtime. Mitchell Slawson got the winning goal for the Bulldogs with five minutes left in the second overtime.
With 24 minutes into play Trevecca scored first, but the Bulldogs answered with two quick goals, The first goal was scored in the 29th minute by Eddie Carabello and the second in the 33rd minute by John Carrier allowing the Bulldogs to have the half time advantage with a 2-1 lead. Trevecca than scored in the second half to set the table for overtime. Neither team would score in the first overtime, but Slawson broke the tie with a stunning 25 yard strike to win the game.
Miguel Valadez had eight saves in goal for the Bulldogs.
