The Lady Bulldogs (0-1) opened the 2009 season on the road at Trevecca Nazarene. The Lady Trojans scored in the 17th minute to take a 1-0 lead at the break.  Trevecca added a goal at the 75th minute to win the game 2-0.
both teams took nine shots in the first half.  TWC had six shots in the second half for a total of 15 shots.  The Lady Bulldogs had four saves while TNU had nine.
 
Chealsey Baxter was in goal for the Lady Bulldogs with three saves and allowed two goals before being relieved by goalie, Tiffani Martin.  Martin had one save for the Lady Bulldogs.
 
The Lady Bulldogs return to action on  Saturday September 5 when they host Bethel College at 7:00 p.m.  The game is slated to be played under the lights at the McMinn County Soccer Complex.
