The Bulldogs fell to Union on Tuesday night getting their 2nd conference loss, leaving them currently tied for 2nd in the AAC with Bluefield and Reinhardt.
Union started quickly and were up by seven, 26-19, at the 12:44 mark. Johnson Decembre came off the bench to score nine points and a bucket by Todd Lansden gave Wesleyan the lead, 29-28. No more than five points separated the clubs after that point with Union slipping in front, 49-46, at the break.
Scoring from Q.D. Cox, Kenny Dean and Tre Tiller erased a seven-point deficit, tying the score at 55, and a "3" from Lanny Pradia put TWU on top, 58-55. Tennessee Wesleyan's last lead came at 67-65, with 12:44 to play. Union then went on a, 9-0, run and the Bulldogs never recovered.
The Bulldogs were 17 of 32 from the free throw line.
