The Lady Bulldogs got another conference win at home on Saturday against St. Andrew's, 89-64.
Tennessee Wesleyan jumped out to 10-point lead after one period, 27-17, after hitting four 3-point baskets and getting scoring from eight different players. Madison Walkup drained a pair of treys; Kenzie Conn had a "3" among four points and a Savannah Atkins 3-ball. Summer Morris added four points, while Lindsey Macon, Gina Dick, Kelsey Young and Hunter Simpson chipped in with two each.
Kelsey Young nailed a 3-pointer among five points before Hannah Troutt and Rachel Simbeck got in on the scoring as the Lady Bulldogs opened the second stanza with a 9-2 streak and continued to pull away. TWU led 48-31 at the half and closed any opening for the Lady Knights with a 26-8 run in the third.
The Lady Bulldogs will play again on Wednesday at home against Allen University at 5:30 pm.
