The Bulldogs played in their first game of the conference tournament today against the number 5 seed Bluefield College. Tennessee Wesleyan came out on top over Bluefield for the second time today, 95-90 and will advance to the semi finals tomorrow to face No. 1 Union. Tip off is set for 6:00 pm.
The teams traded points for the first few minutes of the half, before Bluefield pulled out to take the lead. Bluefield had their biggest lead at 9; 42-33 with 4:46 remaining and then again at the buzzer at 47-38.
The Bulldogs came out in the 2nd half to cut the Bluefield lead before finally taking over the game with 7:10 remaining. A "3" by Jordan Hall tied the game at 74 and ignitated the Bulldogs on an 11-0 run. Bluefield tried to creep back into the game, but never came closer than within the five at the end of the game.
