Bryce Choate of Tennessee Wesleyan University is the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2017 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 10.
AAC Track Athlete of the Week
Bryce Choate - Tennessee Wesleyan - Soph. - Tellico Plains, Tenn.
Won the 800 meter dash at the Montreat College Invitational, posting a school-record time of 1:52.64.
800 time is ranked 4th in the NAIA.
Helped the 4x800 relay team to win with a school-record time of 7:56.58.
This is his first weekly honor this season.
