The Bulldogs traveled to Campbellsville, KY to face a strong Campbellsville University team. During the matchup of these two teams last season Campbellsville won 4-1. This season the Bulldogs came home with a win.
The TWC team started slow and played under a lot of pressure for most of the first 15 minutes. TWC began too pick up their play and dominated possession for the rest of the first half. Chances came and went and it looked as if the sides were going to go in at half time 0-0, but just before the half the ball fell to TWC's Mitchell Slawson on the half volley and he hammered the ball off the post into the back of the net. The sides went in at half time with the score 1-0 to TWC.
Campellsville came out in the second half and dominated most of the possession, but still TWC looked dangerous on the counter attack. Campellsville equalized part way through the second half after a nice run and good finish. Shortly after the goal TWC won a free kick just outside the Campellsville box, an excellent cross was met by the head of Chris Cogan who produced a good save from the Campellsville keeper, but it was right into the path of substitute Eddie Carballo who slotted the ball into the back of the net.
