The Bulldogs soccer team dominated play against Tennessee Temple. The Bulldogs are 4-3 on the season and 0-2 in AAC action. The next game for the Bulldogs is scheduled for October 30 against Bryan College. The conference matchup will be played at 7:00 "under the lights" at the McMinn Soccer Complex in Athens.
With 2:30 seconds into the game TWC began scoring when Mitchell Slawson assisted by John Carrier scored. Slawson scored the next two goals when Billy Sparks scored at the 10:56 mark to take the Bulldog lead 4-0. Slawson scored two more goals, Matt Rice scored with assistance from Hector Jaramillo to take a 7-0 lead at halftime.
Jaramillo opened the scoring attack in the second half at 49:33 mark. Jaramillo quickly added two more goals with assistance from Carrier and Chris Cogan, respectively. Slawson continued his scoring attack with two more goals. Other Bulldog scoring came from Dusty McClanahan, Jake Heath(2), Matt Rice (2), Stefan Hatfield. The final score was 17-0.
Slawson had a career high of seven goals and Jaramillo had three goals. Carrier had seven assists in the game. Jaramillo had three assists while Heath and Rice had two each.
