The Lady Bulldogs (3-4-1; 2-0), leading the AAC, traveled to Pulaski, TN to take on the NAIA 7th ranked Lady Redhawks of Martin Methodist yesterday afternoon. The Lady Redhawks won the contest 9-1. The Lady Bulldogs got on the scoreboard first when Samantha Sexton scored within the first 15 seconds of the game. That was all the offense the Lady Bulldogs could provide taking only three shots in the game.
Martin Methodist scored three goals in the first half to lead at the half 3-1 and then dominated the second half scoring six more goals.
Tiffani Martin in at goal had eight saves and Chealsey Baxter had two saves. The next game for the Lady Bulldogs is slated for Friday at 2:00 when Tennessee Temple travels to Athens.
