The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Bryan College in hopes of winning a conference matchup after losing earlier in the week to Montreat. The Lady Bulldogs had an 18 point lead at the half (41-23) only to see it slip away in the second half of play as Bryan won the contest 70-59. The Lady Bulldogs are now 1-2 in conference play and 5-5 overall. The next contest for the Lady Bulldogs will be on December 12 when they travel to Emmanuel College for a 2:00 tip-off.
TWC shot 71% (scoring 41 points) in the first half holding Bryan to 15%. The Lady Lions defense took over in the second half holding TWC to 24% from the floor and allowing the Lady Bulldogs just one 3-pointer for the half compared to the six they hit in the first half. The Lady Lions out-rebounded TWC 47-27. TWC gave up 11 turnovers while Bryan had six.
Katie Blevins led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 13 points, followed by Lindsey Jackson with 11 and nine rebounds. Jessica Sweat followed up with 10 points.
