With a win over the Bluefield Rams, the Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs remain on the top of the leader board with Reinhardt College and Bryan College.  The Bulldogs hosted the Rams on Wednesday, January 13th in James L Robb Gymnasium.    
 
The Bulldogs started the game pulling out to a 10-0 lead over Bluefield College.   Throughout the half the Rams were only able to tie the game up once at 30-30, 1:30 before halftime, but never gained the lead.  After the tie score, the Bulldogs scored the next 6 points to go into the locker room ahead 36-30.  
Matt TowryDuring the second half, the Bulldogs worked hard to maintain the led and even stretch it to a 13 point led at 6:24 left in the game.   The Bulldogs finished the game strong scoring the last 6 points of the game.  Final score of the game was 82-70, Bulldogs. 
 
Jesse Booher made a career high of 8 field goals with 6 of those being 3 point goals.   Jesse led all scorers with a total of 24 points.  Justin Hicks, Quincy Scates, Matt Towry, and Clarence Threat all scoring in double figures with 12, 11, 10 and 10 points respectively.   Clarence Threat pulled down a total of 8 rebounds all being defensive, while Justin Hicks pulled down 7.
