With Wesleyan's win at Milligan and Bryan's loss at UVA-Wise, the Bulldogs are now in the lead of the Appalachian Athletic Conference.  The Bulldogs traveled to Milligan College on Wednesday to play the Buffaloes.   For the first 10 minutes of the game, the Bulldogs and Buffaloes stayed within 2 points of each other.   The Buffaloes then began to pull away leading by as much as 11 points with four minutes left in the half.  The Bulldogs went into the locker room at half time trailing by 8 points with a score of 32-40.    
The Bulldogs came out at half to score the first 8 points and tie up the game.   The Bulldogs held the Buffaloes to scoring only 37 points in the 2nd half, while they scored 53 to take the win.  The final score of the game was 86-77. 
 
Matt Harper had a career high game scoring 26 points and leading all scorers.   Matt Towry and E'Jay Ward each had 13 points while Jesse Booher contributed 10 points.  Matt Towry pulled down 9 rebounds. 
 
The Bulldogs host former AAC team Covenant College on Saturday, January 23rd at 4:00 pm.
