The Bulldogs hosted former AAC matchup Covenant College on Saturday.  With help from the whole Bulldog bench, they won over the Scots 78-64.   The Scots started out scoring the first 3 points but soon the Bulldogs began to take the lead.  The Bulldogs got their biggest lead of 14 points when Jesse Booher sank a 3 point field goal to make the score 30-16  at 3:28 left in the half.  The Bulldogs went into the locker room feeling good about their 10 point lead, 33-23.  
Both the Bulldogs and the Scots came out of the locker room making field goals but the lead was too much for the Scots.   The Bulldogs were able to pull out in front of the Scots by as much as 19 points at 7:41 left in the game.   The Bulldogs finished the game winning by 14 points.
 
Jesse Booher led all scorers with 18 points.  Clarence Threat and Sean Bridges also scored in double figures with 11 and 10 points respectively.  Matt Harper pulled down 9 rebounds.
 
The Bulldogs travel to Virginia Intermont on Wednesday, January 27th for an AAC match up at 7:30 pm.
