The Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs men's lacrosse team traveled to Kennesaw State for their season opener. KSU jumped out to a 5-1 lead before the Bulldogs woke up. The second half was back and forth until TWC took the lead for good with two minutes left and held on for the win. The final score was a nailbiting 15 - 14 win for the Bulldogs over the homestanding Owls.
Scoring was paced by Freshman attackman Jacob Estrada with 5 goals while Junior attack Ryan Horvath netted 4 goals. Sophmore middie Jackson Isler had 3 assists to go along with his 1 goal. Junior defensman Brandon Singleton had 5 ground balls and sophmore Cole Lasater won his first ever start in goal with 10 saves.
The team will be back in action on Saturday, February 13th as they play host to Lees-McRae College of North Carolina. The action is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
