The Women's Lacrosse team opened their season at home on Saturday, February 6th against Lindenwood University. Although the team lost 17-3, Coach Kelam "
was pleased with the effort shown in the game, there truly is no quit in any of these girls." He continued with '"to have the number 9 team in the country not score its first goal until 5 min into the first half is a great achievement and something to build on. I am happy to say that all of the mistakes that were made, are correctable. The important thing to focus on is getting better each week".Emily Clevenger had 2 goals and 1 assist. Tess Sasse also contributed 1 goal to the Lady Bulldogs 3.
The Lady Bulldogs play on February 13th at Vanderbilt University at 4:00 pm, then are back home against Erskine College on February 17th at 2:00 pm.
