The Bulldogs hosted the Redhawks of Martin Methodist on Wednesday.  The Bulldogs were able to pull out an 11-6 win over the Redhawks.   Matt McCracken was able to go five scoreless innings with just three hits, two walks, and two strikeouts.   The Bulldogs took the lead in the 2nd with two walks and a run scoring balk.   In the fourth inning, an error, two walks, and David Lindsay's single made it 3-0. Ron Santos led off the fifth with a single, stole second and scored from there on a sacrifice fly by Johnny Smith when the outfielder had to make a diving catch and fell into the fence. Martin Methodist scored on relief pitcher Hamilton Bennett in the 6th.  The Bulldogs answered with  two runs when Rafael Carlot singled, stole second, later scoring on a wild pitch, and Lindsay followed a walk with a run-scoring double.  Bennett and reliever Ronald Phelps were tagged for five runs in the seventh to tie the score at six before Daniel Wood came on to get the final out.  In the bottom of the inning, Santos led off with a double, Max Loveland singled and Smith walked to load the bases, but it took a two-out double by Carlot to deliver two runs and put TWC back in front 8-6. Wood pitched a scoreless eighth. In the home half, Loveland's triple followed two walks and Smith doubled home the game's final run. Jason Ferguson surrendered three hits in the ninth, but did not give up a run.  Wood picked up the win, allowing one hit, striking out one and walking one in 1 1/3 innings.
The Bulldogs had 11 hits. Santos collected three hits with a double; Loveland three with a triple and two RBIs; Carlot two with a double and two RBIs; Lindsay with a double and three RBIs and Smith with a double and two RBIs.
 
The Bulldogs host Lindenwood University on Friday, February 19th at 1:00 pm for a double header and on Saturday, February 20th at 12:00 pm also a double header.
